AAPI United is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Community Ambassadors. As a Community Ambassador, you will be crucial in representing our organization, building brand awareness, and fostering meaningful connections within the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.

Serve as a visible and enthusiastic representative of AAPI United at community events, workshops, and online platforms.

Promote the organization’s mission, values, and initiatives to a diverse audience, emphasizing the importance of AAPI issues.

Community Outreach:

– Actively engage with the AAPI community through social media, forums, and community groups to share information about AAPI and its programs.

– Encourage community members to participate in events, campaigns, and volunteer opportunities.

– Identify and engage with local AAPI groups, organizations, and leaders to enhance community partnerships.

– Represent the organization and community events, including promoting locally owned AAPI Businesses in support of the community.

Content Creation:

– Generate and share compelling content that aligns with the organization’s messaging on various platforms (Instagram, X, FB, etc.)

– Share personal stories, testimonials, and experiences to humanize the organization’s impact.


– Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to develop and implement effective strategies for brand promotion.

– Provide feedback on community trends, needs, and preferences to enhance outreach efforts.

Training and Development:

– Participate in orientation and training sessions to become well-versed in the organization’s mission, programs, and communication strategies.

– Stay informed about AAPI-related issues and trends to communicate with diverse audiences effectively.


– Passion for and commitment to the AAPI community and AAPI United’s mission.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.

– Proficient in using social media platforms for outreach and engagement.

– Strong organizational and time management skills.


– Gain valuable experience in community outreach, marketing, and non-profit work.

– Networking opportunities within the AAPI community and the non-profit sector.

– Certificate of completion and letters of recommendation are available upon request.
